​​​​Thanks to the hard work of the Firewise Committee Goat Peak Ranch is now an official Firewise Community!  

Goat Peak Ranch is located in a environment that is at high risk for forest fire.  The HOA has been working to reduce risk to the community.  Recently we had an updated assessment on our status:

Highlights from report:

• Fire Engines need at least 12 feet of clearance to get down a driveway.   In addition, some kind of turn around is recommended.  Several driveways are considered too narrow.
• Clear signage is also vital for the fire department. Many homes are not marked clearly enough, especially considering the possibility of haze and smoke.

The report is very detailed and worth reading for all homeowners.
